Coconut oil...antibacterial?

It is true, coconut oil is antibacterial. It is hard to think of an oil having this quality but the proof is there. When you apply coconut oil to your skin (for example acne or a boil) it works to draw out the toxins and correct the situation.

Here is a recent example. My nephew had a big spider bite on his back that festered and was quite nasty. His mom immediately put coconut oil on and rubbed it in. The coconut oil quickly soaked into the skin and within an hour started changing the look and color of the bite. This inspired hourly applications of coconut oil and within a few hours, my nephew's skin was back to normal.

Had this not worked, his mom was going to take him to the emergency room. However, the coconut oil started acting so quickly that she decided no costly, scary visit to the hospital was necessary. Hmmm...
