Coconut oil and ulcers

Of course, coconut oil can help with ulcers! Coconut oil can help with just about everything so ulcers and canker sores are no exception.

Ulcers seem to be caused by stress and infections that zap the body. Stress often causes infection because our resistance is typically lower when we are stressed. Ulcers are internal and occur along the digestive tract. Canker sores are external and typically occur in the mouth area.

Typically, antibiotics are prescribed for ulcers as they do a great job of killing the bacteria that causes the ulcer. Unfortunately, antibiotics also kill the good bacteria that you need which can result in other problems.

Coconut oil kills the bacteria that causes the ulcer while not killing bacteria that you need to maintain good health. The medium chain fatty acids in coconut oil help naturally prevent ulcers and correct problems in the digestive tract. All you need is 2 to 3 tablespoons of coconut oil every day!
