Coconut Oil and Insomnia
Here is yet another reason you should be consuming coconut oil. Coconut oil helps the body regulate itself. If you are overweight or underweight, it helps to bring you back into balance and either gain or lose weight - whatever you need to keep your body in balance.
Coconut oil also performs this same function when it comes to helping you with insomnia. Coconut oil regulates your sleep as part of the overall goal of regulating your bodily functions. You will experience improved quality and duration of sleep so that you function better on a daily basis. I found this to be true almost immediately after I started taking coconut oil - prior to this I had huge problems sleeping.
