Coconut Oil and Fatigue

I have Multiple Sclerosis and am just starting to face somewhat regular fatigue. I was hunting around to see if consuming coconut oil might somehow help with this challenge. It is important to note that I drink no caffeine throughout the day as I have read that you really shouldn't take in caffeine if you have MS. So...lack of energy and fatigue are key issues for me as I fight this disease.

Interestingly enough, my favorite new wonder product may help fight fatigue! Fatigue is not simply being tired...it is an all-of-the-sudden sense of you simply can not go on. For me with my MS, it means I have difficulty thinking, speaking and taking that very next step. According to Dr. Bruce Fife, "Symptoms may include any of the following: muscle weakness, headache, memory loss, mental confusion, recurring infections, low-grade fever, swollen lymph glands, severe exhaustion following moderate physical activity, depression, anxiety attacks, dizziness, rashes, allergies, and autoimmune reactions."

Since coconut oil is a medium chain fatty acid that is quickly absorbed, Dr. Fife believes that it can be a great source of energy for anyone, but especially those whole deal with daily issues of fatigue.
